Elliot R Alwaisi, Accountant
Elliot, a C.P.A. with more than 15 years of experience in accounting and systems implementation for federal contracts. Elliot is an ardent tennis player and is often found perfecting his skills in Central Park.
Yakubu Mohammed, Co-Founder
Yakubu, known to many as “Mo”, was born in Accra, Ghana, West Africa. Mo moved to America in 1997 and started his tennis career at The Stadium Racquet Club in the Bronx, New York.
Mo’s tennis resume is extensive. He has worked at some of the most prestigious tennis clubs throughout the New York City area including, Columbus Racquet Club, Wall Street Racquet Club, Fieldston High School in Riverdale, where he taught the Junior Varsity team and at Central Park Tennis where Mo is going 20+ years strong!
He worked his way up from head pro to his current role as Tennis Director, overseeing camps, clinics and tournaments.
Mo is a consummate professional and well-respected throughout New York area tennis circles.
Alima Mohammed, Co-Founder
Alima has an accomplished tennis career which started with her representing Ghana as a Junior at the age of 7. She went on to obtain a scholarship through the International Tennis Federation (I.T.F) through which, she played a series of tournaments across Africa and Europe. She was even ranked as high as No. 65 in Junior rankings worldwide.
One of her greatest achievements is having been awarded Ghana’s Athlete of the Year award 5 times.
Alima has her Bachelor’s Degree is Fitness and Nutrition from the City College of New York.
Alima is currently a Senior Pro at SportTime in White Plains, New York.
